Recently, i saw Batman dark knight. it was Awesome! Heath Ledger was a phoenominal Joker! he played the part as it should have been played where joker was truly a psychopath. if you havent seen it yet, definatly go see it.

And just a few days ago a friend and i saw a double feature, Mamma Mia and the Mummy 3, both films were great but if i had to pick a favorite between the two, i think id say that it probably was the Mummy 3.

Now dont get me wrong, Mamma Mia was great, Meryl Streep really has a good voice for singing. the story that was adapted for the screen from the play was spot on. It was beautifully filmed, and my friend who knows the play backwards and forwards says all the songs were done correctly.

But i think the final episode into the mummy series, was better. Even with the different character playing Evie (the wife in the movie), the almost no age diffrence in between Brendan frasier and the guy playing his son alex, and the different location. i have to say tho the new actress that played Evie was ok, she just played the character a little too proper, a little too english if you will, for me.

all in all i have to say all three movies were great and well worth checking out.

But dont take my word for it, go see em yourself.

In a story where Germany won a future World War and Great Britain is now a fascist state, a masked vigilante known only as “V” (Weaving) conducts guerrilla warfare against the government. When he rescues a normal young woman (Portman), she joins his struggle against the forces of oppression…

This movie was so good I must apply Erica’s description, it’s Fanfuckingtastic! Natalie Portman’s Performance was outstanding! Tho we do not see Hugo Weaving’s face at all he also was truly amazing.

It’s a cautionary tale of what could happen if the wrong people were to ever control the free world. The movie tells a story inside the story about a lesbian couple who are torn apart and murdered by the fascist government. In the shadow of this government being gay is something you can be executed for. Just like the Nazis of old people are taken in the middle of the night and sent to prisons and experiments are done on them and then when they die they are all buried in mass graves.

It also tells a tale of biological warfare, and how a government created a disease. Don’t have a heart attack, but this part I think is true. I have always believed that a government (not necessarily this one) created the HIV virus and they used it to kill undesirables. I believe there is a cure and that a government (not necessarily this one) is keeping that cure under wraps.

I know what you are thinking; Chris is saying this? Yes I am. That’s a bit conspiracy theorist for you isnt it? Yes, but I really believe it.

Anyway if you have not seen this movie I highly recommend you go see it.
