I got an apartment, again…

March 31st being my birthday, my mom asked me what I wanted as a present. I told her all I wanted was an apartment, to which she replied “well I can’t get you that”.

Well not only did she get me an apartment; she put money down on it to hold it for me. It’s a one bedroom apartment on the first floor, has a huge kitchen with space for a small table for me. It doesn’t have a dishwasher, but I am going to go to an appliance place and get one of those portable dishwashers.

The bathroom is a nice size, and there is a closet that is a place for a stackable washer/dryer but I’m not going to have a washer/dryer. Instead it’s going to be where I keep Isis ’ litter box, and other stuff.

In the bedroom there is no light or fan, but the apartment lady said that I could request that they put one in. The apartment has central heat/air so no more window unit. (thank GOD!)

I do not have the gay decorator gene, so I am going to need some help with that, any volunteers?The floor plan is nice. Here it is pictured below, the only diffrence is that the kitchen is on the other side.

I had to go to Walmart the other night at 11:30pm. The reason? I needed a toilet plunger. It’s one of those things that you dont think about untill you need one. I will say I was relieved that the toilet didnt overflow, tho it stopped so close, I was worried for a second. i now have a toilet plunger and it works so thats one down on the list… gee whats next?

Today I got the key for my apartment. YAY! I’ve started moving things in, little things. thats all it seems I have, well except for the entertainment center, the dresser, and the futon that my parents are giving me.

I ordered this really kool futon cover for it. It’s costing me a pretty penny, but its worth it. I really cant wait till power is on in the apartment. then I can start setting things up, sleeping and showering there… etc.

If you are kind you are welcome to the most humble home of chris benitez. If you are a hot boy then you are welcome but you must be naked. hehe

When you get a new apartment and you have to pay all these deposits, you have to budget your money. I am finding that I am broke, it’s very depressing. As I said in a previous post, I have to find a part time job. Does anyone know of any part time work that I can get? lol

Well, the move will start sometime after the 27th of this month, because the carpets need to be cleaned. After that happens the landlord guy will give me the key anytime I want it. I have decided that I dont hae any money to really paint the apartment so its going to be white, for now.

Well the guy called and said I was approved… I am going to meet him today after work to sign the lease and give the deposit… I just hope its not some outrageous deposit amount. The only problem is that I don’t have my check book with me… Mom, Dad, Help!

I dont know what to make of this… I am just waiting for the other shoe to drop…
