Ok so I probably owe an apology to that fat ass donut eating cop that I told off on the night my bike was stolen.

Why?

I received a call from a detective saying they recovered my bike in a pawn shop. Apparently the guy who stole the bike decided he was gonna pawn it, and the pawn shop guy checked my bike against police records and found it was stolen.

So I guess I really do owe him an apology since I stood right in his face and called him a liar and told him that my bike would never be found. But on the other hand he stood there and told me rather rudely that I was wrong. Of course I didn’t want to hear that because I was so pissed my bike was gone I couldn’t even think straight.  

Will I find him and apologize? No, probably not… He was right, I was wrong, as much as I hate to admit it…

Now the challenge becomes trying to get a hold of the detective to get the address of the pawn shop so I can pick up my bike. I certainly hope that the pawn shop guy doesn’t want to charge me for my bike. The pawn shop guy is a victim of the bike thief too because he gave the crook money for my bike.

Apparently the cops are now looking for the guy because he gave information about himself to the pawn shop. Weather or not they find him is a different story. I hope they do find him, I wanna press charges! 

Update: 03/31/07 

I was able to get my bike back from the pawn shop and the cops. It was in poor condition, but it was returned to me. Apparently the fuckers who had it decided they wanted to put a rack on the back. Needless to say that is coming off. 

I took it today to Orange Cycle to get it repaired, those guys are the best, the guy took one look at it and said no problem. he got to work right away figureing exactly how much the cost of the repairs would be. he said they had to order a part and that he would order it Monday they should get it Wednesday and it should be ready Thursday. How much is it going to cost to get fixed? $225.00 of course thats only an estimate. But i do not care I will pay whatever it takes to get my bike fixed. if the police ever catch the man who stole my bike HE’S GOING TO PAY THOSE REPAIR COSTS.
