I have a Dell DJ that is probably like 3 or 4 years old now. I love it. It’s 20 gigs of musical joy. The reason I wanted it was because it was cheaper than an Ipod for the same amount of space (at the time)

So today I went looking on the Dell site for a new DJ because I figured it was still cheaper than an Ipod. I couldn’t find any of the Dj’s that I wanted, it looked like all they had was their Ditty’s which are like the Ipod Shuffle or Nano.

I figured I was missing them somehow so I called Dell directly and they confirmed my fear. Dell is no longer offering the Dell DJ in the 20 gig or more size! I cannot believe that! Even the Dell rep I was talking to said that she didnt know why they decided to stop selling them because they were selling like hotcakes.

I told her that her company had just lost my business and that was a shame because I had really liked Dell. That they made a huge mistake taking away the DJs and she agreed with me. She went on to say that those people like myself who had called in to purchase a new Dj was really mad that Dell is no longer offering this product.

So I guess Apple here I come… (sighs)
