I am gonna ask a question and see if anyone answers it.
Ok here it is.
March 31st I will be turning 30. It’s good timing this year; my birthday falls on a Friday so I could have a birthday weekend. I kinda want to have a party, I havnt had a birthday party since I was, well; young.
My only problem with this is that A: I live in a very tiny apartment that has very limited parking. B: I don’t have many friends. C: The friends I do have are kinda spread out, and I would have to ask some of them to travel if they wanted to be here for a party.
So if I went the other route and just went to a club or a bar it would still be a bar or club here in Orlando, and I’m sorry but Orlando bars and clubs are lame. While it’s true I could go somewhere else and go to a club. That however would require travel and I would have to be sober there and back, unless I got a limo, but that would be too expensive.
I could probably rent a space, but that again would be kinda expensive just for one night. Plus I’d have to have some kind of entertainment, and I wouldn’t ask the one friend who is a DJ to spin at my party cuz he would be too busy to hang out. Plus in a rented space I’d have to be more sober than I want to be.
So I guess the question is if you were in my shoes, turning 30 and wanted to have a really good time, but were restricted by all the things listed above, what would you do? I have just about 37 days to decide. Hopefully something doable will present itself.

My mother’s 50th birthday is the same day! We are heading out to Colorado to see her that weekend.
I would travel if I were you. Find a place and just go! Do something radically different from all of your other birthdays….
I won’t be in Orlando for my 30th, so I thought I would just kind of spread the idea.

Well in a vague memory you also have another important day coming up. But thats a different story completely.
I’m sure with advance notice that you’d have a friend, who has a house, somewhere scenic, like maybe the beach, who has access to a club, a dj, connections with the gay mafia (who work at a hotel/resort) and plenty of parking who could possibly host such an event…
Or more specifically if there are some people who would like to secretly conspire with each other against our little angel….
