The Secret is now invalid.
I had told you that I had a secret, and that you would find out. Well now that secret is invalid.
The secret was that I had gotten approved for my apartment. I went today to give them the money and sign the paperwork and all that crap. Beforehand I went to the bank and got a money order and drove to the apartment complex. I go in hand them the money order and she looks at it and says “were you told to bring in this amount?” and I said yes because I was approved and this was the amount that I needed to put down as deposit.
She looks at me and says that it wasn’t enough because that’s not what the large apartment is worth. I looked up and said excuse me? Large? I was going for the small one, the one I viewed twice. She says back, no what you were looking at was the large apartment. so I tell her that all this time I had been told and was under the impression that was the small and that was going for a certain amount. That I just cant afford this new amount that they want to charge me for rent so I have to stop right here. I asked for my check back and she said well wait a minute. She goes and speaks to the property manager who apparently doesn’t care that I was told incorrect information nor does she care that I have my deposit money, because she does nothing. And the girl comes back and said here’s your check; I hope the bank will take it back. Have a good day.
And that was it. No I’m sorry, no nothing. So my apartment that I wanted has fallen through… so now I have to start all over… find a new place and see if there is availability…
