I don’t normally watch David Letterman because I am usually doing something else, like sleeping or playing a video game. But I caught it tonight and he does a segment called audience show and tell. I guess it’s like when he used to do stupid pet tricks or stupid human tricks.

It’s amazing to me the lengths people will go to make complete fools of themselves. Yes I make a complete fool of myself from time to time, but I don’t do it on national TV. Tell me why would you go to the David Letterman show and take part in this segment? Do you really want to get on TV that bad? Is the overwhelming desire to do the electric slide with eight books on your head in front of David Letterman that strong?

Ok now don’t get me wrong David Letterman can be amusing to watch from time to time. I’m not knocking his show. I just wonder where these people get their ideas from…

I imagine one night they were drunk or something and said to their friend “I wanna go on David Letterman’s show and do the electric slide with eight books on my head.” and the friend said “what? Why would you wanna do that?” and the other person said “I wanna perform for the masses and if I can make just one person laugh, I will have brought joy to the world.”

Ok maybe I went a bit far with the ending but you get the idea.. I think I am tired and silly… and that sounds like a perfect excuse to end my post right here..
