I work in a large building, and as such there is a north & south wing, there is also an east & west side to the building. Well some middle management asshole decided that it would be really great if on Saturday’s and Sunday’s everyone sat on one side of the building ONLY. Of course I am screwed because the side everyone has to sit on is not the side I normally sit on. And so I have to go find a desk where I can sit and hope that no one comes and says that I am in their desk and that I need to move. Not that it would actually happen because on the weekends you used to be able to sit where ever you want.

Anyhow I am just o.c.d. enough to be really bothered by this change. Not to mention the fact that now I have to deal with the other two people’s germs that normally sit at this desk that I have chosen for myself. The only thing I can say is that thank god I have my Lysol disinfecting wipes!

You know I would really love someone to come along and show these middle management people what its like to be shuffled out of their office. See how uncomfortable it is and what its like to have to schlep their crap from one place to another and then have to go back from office to office getting the crap that they need.

Even my supervisor had to move and she has all her stuff she needs for us at her desk. We talked and she told me that it took her an hour to get just the computer working in the supervisor’s desk that she was sitting in. She also said that she asked the powers that be why it is that she and the rest of us needed to move, so maybe she could understand it more and in turn explain it to us. She told me that they never gave her an answer, what a company, your supervisor’s ask a question and you don’t even have the decency to give them an answer.

I’m glad I’m getting paid well, otherwise this wouldn’t be worth the shit I have to put up with.
