The call came in today at four thirtyish, and it was from Laquisha (I think that’s how it’s spelled) she was calling to tell me that my company had decided to hire me. I had already known but it was cool to get a call from my temp service telling me that they were going to hire me.

Anyhow the point is that she called me late and said that I had to fill out an online resume at the company website. Laquisha said that she had gotten the email informing her that I needed to do this about ten minutes before she called me and that it had to be done BEFORE the weekend.

So here it is like four forty now after she has told me all this and have me log on to the website, I am instructed to fill out the resume and call her back. So I do as I’m told, but in between I am doing other things because it’s what I was doing before she called. I finally finish the resume, submit it and call Laquisha with the confirmation number which is what she asked for. Now it’s five o’clock and she answers the phone happily, I give her the confirmation and she thanks me for calling back so quickly.

So aside from the paperwork, which is all that is left, I am officially an employee. Yay!
