Well I had a fantastic time last night. I went out to Southern Nights with some friends from work and I had a blast, and I didn’t even drink. The people that I went with were all gay and had never been to Southern. I have to say that it was nice to go and see the club, a place that I have been a thousand times before, and see it through their eyes; it was all new and fabulous.

The joy of their discovery of a nice place to hang out and have fun was great. I had mentioned earlier that I didn’t drink, that was a choice I made because one of the guys said that he always goes out with his boyfriend and never gets to drink, so I offered to be the designated for the evening.

Seeing them all liquored up and having a fantastic time was the best. The drag show was as usual a lot of fun and Carmella (the grand ‘ol gal of the south) was as usual funny as shit. It was a very good night and I look forward to doing it again.
